Inc (MAI) a State of California Department of Health Services (DHS)-certified laboratory in
Pacheco, California, and selected soil samples were analyzed for the following
Io Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as diesel (TPH-d), total petroleum hydrocarbons
quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) in accordance with EPA method 8015 modified,
• Purgeable aromatic hydrocarbons benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene and total xylenes(BTEX) -
in accordance with EPA method 8020 and
I • Fuel oxygenates,including methyl tert-butyl ether(MTBE),tertiary-butyl alcohol(TBA),di-
isopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether (ETBE) and tertiary-amyl methyl ether
(TAME) in accordance with EPA Method 8260 modified
A summary of soil sample analytical results are presented m Tables 1`andA ny'g - - - w_
Under direction from the EHD, four `grab' ground water samples were collected from the UST
excavations for Tanks 1, 4, 5,and 6 The water samples from Tanks 1 and 4 were analyzed for
TPH-d,TPH- ,BTEX and the fuel additives DIPE,ETBE,MTBE,TAME,TBA The wafer samples
' from Tanksd 5 were analyzed for TPH-g, BTEX compounds and the fuel additives DIPE,
ETBE, MTBE, TAME, TBA
TPH-d, TPH-g, BTEX and fuel additives were detected in the soil samples collected from the UST
excavations TPH-g and BTEX were detected in four of the seventeen soil samples and TPH-d was
I ' Advanced GeoEnvironmenital,Inc
