SITE-SPECIFIC SAFETY PLAN <br /> Blue Star Property <br /> 4040 East Main Street, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This Site-Specific Safety Plan(Safety Plan) has been prepared to minimize the threat of serious <br /> injury to workers engaged in drilling and sampling activities while implementing the Workplan for <br /> the Subsurface Investigation at the Blue Star Property,4040 East Main Street, Stockton, <br /> California. Winzler&Kelly personnel will be briefed on the site safety plan and will have access <br /> to the plan the entire time field work is occurring. <br /> This Site Safety Plan offers guidelines and precautions for employees of Winzler& Kelly. It is the <br /> responsibility of every person working on the project site to behave cautiously and avoid actions or <br /> situations that could jeopardize his or her own safety and well being. Winzler& Kelly is not <br /> responsible for the actions of employees of other contractors or their sub-contractors, but will work <br /> with them to create the safest possible environment. <br /> Winzler&Kelly is not responsible or liable for the injuries of persons working on the project site <br /> with the exception of Winzler&Kelly employees, to the extent that they are covered by Winzler& <br /> Kelly's Worker's Compensation Insurance. <br /> 1.1 SITE SAFETY OFFICER <br /> The Winzler& Kelly Site Safety Officer(SSO)will be either Jim Donohue or Ryan Crawford. In <br /> absence of both, Dave Vossler will act as SSO. The SSO is responsible for insuring that safe work <br /> practices and emergency response procedures are followed. <br /> 2.0 EMERGENCY RESPONSE <br /> The SSO will carry a mobile phone in case emergency services are required.
