Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc. -. <br /> 22 April 2003 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 01-0886 <br /> Ms. Vicki McCartney <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Subject: Site Assessment Work Plan -Addendum <br /> Former BLUE STAR GASOLINE <br /> 4040 East Main Street, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Ms. McCartney: <br /> At the request of Mr.Khalid Amber,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.has prepared this addendum <br /> to Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 17 March 2003, for the property located at 4040 East Main <br /> Street,Stockton,California(Figure 1).The original scope of work included the advancement of one <br /> exploratory soil boring to collect and analyze soil samples; additional borings may be advanced, if <br /> necessary and with approval by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) <br /> (Section 3.2). However, in a letter dated 04 April 2003, the EHD requested the establishment of a <br /> minimum of three soil borings to collect and analyze grab ground water samples as well as soil <br /> samples.Therefore,two additional soil borings will be advanced during the initial site investigation.; <br /> the proposed probe boring locations are illustrated in Figure 2. <br /> The three soil borings will be advanced to a minimum of 65 feet below surface grade for the <br /> collection of soil and grab ground water samples. Soil collection and analytical procedures were <br /> discussed in Section 3.2 of the original Site Assessment Work-Plan. Ground water samples will be <br /> collected using a Geoprobe water sampling assembly. The water samples will be collected into <br /> properly-labeled 40-m1 volatile organic analysis (VOA) vials, delivered in a properly-chilled <br /> container to a State of California Department of Health Service-Certified laboratory and analyzed <br /> for the same chemical constituents listed in Section 3.2. <br /> Upon approval of the work plan,AGE will submit all drilling permits and necessary application fees <br /> to the EHD. <br /> 837 Shaw Road,Stockton,California 95215 <br /> Telephone(209)467-1006 FAX(209)467-1118 <br />
