YOUNGDAHL
&ASSOCIATES INC.
GEOTECHNICAL, ENVIRONMENTAL & CONSTRUCTION LAB
Project No. 91349.a
4 November, 1991
San Joaquin County
Public Health Service
Environmental Health Division
Stockton, CA 95201
FAX (209) 464-0138
Attention: Ms. Joanne Watson
Subject: RE-ACTIVATION of the Request to Review File for the BP Petroleum
Site, 1206 E. March Lane Stockton, California
Dear Ms. Watson:
Thank you for your instructions regarding this request to review file information
from the Environmental Health Division of San Joaquin County. YOUNGDAHL &
ASSOCIATES, INC. encountered suspect petroleum-affected soil and perched
groundwater during a geotechnical investigation on the contiguous parcel to the
west of 1206 E. March Lane. Our client has requested us to conduct a Phase II
investigation to determine the lateral and vertical extent of contamination on the
site.
It is our understanding that a groundwater Problem Assessment Report has been
conducted on the 1206 E. March Lane site which might provide us with
preliminary groundwater information including gradient and quality. If possible, we
would appreciate a copy of the site plan showing elevations and locations of wells
or borings; a summary sheet of detected constituents; and a summary sheet of
groundwater gradient information from the report.
If any other leaking tank sites are within the immediate vicinity and assumed to be
upgradient from our area, please advise me of the file name and address for my
review during our upcoming site-walk.
Please consider this letter a request to review files in the March Lane and West
Lane area of Stockton. I will plan my visit based upon the information you can
provide me with on 1206 E. March Lane.
1234 GLENHAVEN COURT ■ EL DORADO HILLS,CA 95630
SACRAMENTO(916)638-8546 EL DORADO HILLS(916)933-0633
FAX(916)933-6482
