During the comment period for the RAP, interviews of adjacent <br /> property owners were completed. Nelson's Redimix personnel ` <br /> identified some areas on their property where they had observed <br /> blue-colored runoff, from Lika, to have collected. At the <br /> Department's request, these areas were sampled. The analytical <br /> results indicate that slightly elevated levels of copper and <br /> lead are present along the property line only. The RAP will be <br /> modified to extend the excavation further north to cover this <br /> area. <br /> 2. The Final RAP is undergoing preparation. <br /> 3. A presentation regarding the nonbinding preliminary allocation <br /> of financial responsibility was made to the Department staff on <br /> October 13.
