Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> Dear Ms. Cotulla: <br /> Enclosed you will find a copy of a Fact Sheet describing workplans for <br /> cleanup of soils and groundwater at 2041 Navy Drive. <br /> LIKA Corporation, the former tenant at 2041 Navy Drive, has recently <br /> completed an investigation of this facility. The purpose of the <br /> investigation was to determine whether or not LIKA' s manufacturing <br /> process left any environmental contaminants present at the site. The <br /> investigation showed significant levels of copper to be present in soils <br /> surrounding a sump inside the building and in a soil strip along the <br /> western edge of the building, There is some groundwater contamination at <br /> the site, however it appears to be limited to within 75 feet of the sump. <br /> LIKA Corporation has prepared a plan to excavate, treat and remove the <br /> contaminated concrete and soil from the facility. The plan has been <br /> submitted to the State Department of Health Services for their review and <br /> approval . Copies of this remedial action plan have been made available <br /> for your review at the Stockton-San Joaquin County Library and at the <br /> LIKA Corporation office at 1443 Navy Drive, Stockton, California.
