HSA 87/88 - <br /> 017 RA, STOCKTON, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Dear Messrs. O'Connor, Roach, and Mandaric: <br /> Enclosed with this letter is the signed Remedial Action Order for <br /> the LIKA (Navy Drive) site. That Order was issued pursuant to <br /> Health and Safety Code (H&SC) Section 25355. 5. A draft copy of <br /> the Order was previously forwarded to you with the Department's <br /> letter dated 6 November 1987 . <br /> The Order sets forth various compliance dates. Those dates are <br /> contingent upon the effective date of the Order (23 November <br /> 1987) and are as follows: <br /> (1) Within 10 days, submit the name of the project <br /> coordinator and the name and resume of the project <br /> registered engineer or geologist; <br /> (2) By 15 December submit the Phase II Remedial Investiga- <br /> tion Report; <br /> (3) Within 30 days and monthly thereafter, submit monthly <br /> reports; and <br /> (4) Within 30 days submit the workplan for the Remedial <br /> Investigation/Feasibility Study. <br /> If you do not comply with the requirements of the Order, the <br /> Department itself will proceed to investigate and remediate the <br /> site in accordance with H&SC Section 25355. 5 and recover its <br /> costs from responsible parties in accordance with H&SC Section <br /> 25360. <br /> If you have any questions or comments regarding this matter <br /> please contact Lee Taubeneck at (916) 924-2140 or Jim Tjosvold at <br /> (916) 924-2181. <br />
