Limited Environmental Investigation May 21, 1990
Proposed Unocal Station, Stockton, California AGS 30010-1
SITE BACKGROUND AND ADJACENT PROPERTY
The site is on the southeast corner of March Lane and West Lane as shown on the Site
Vicinity Map (Plate P-1). The location of the proposed Unocal Station in relation to a
shopping center that is presently under construction is shown on the Area and Site Map,
Plate P-2. Previous uses of the property are included in the discussion of the Information
Search.
The Adjacent Property Map (Plate P-3) shows that a BP gas station is on the southwest
corner of the intersection of March Lane and West Lane. The land on the northwest and
northeast corners is undeveloped.
PROXIMITY OF «'ELLS AND UTILITIES
It is our understanding from the City of Stockton Public Works Department that water for
,ow the proposed site will be supplied by municipal wells. Numerous water-supply wells are
near the site. Data obtained from the California Department of Water Resources
concerning these wells are presented in Table 1, and the locations of the wells are depicted
on the Site Vicinity Map (Plate P-1). The data indicate that municipal and domestic wells
are not within 1,000 feet of the site. A domestic well (No. 12) is located approximately
2
APPlied GeOSYSAMS
