This Work Plan describes the proposed subsurface investigation to be <br /> conducted at the property, which is located at 530 East Market Street, Stockton, California (the <br /> Site). The purpose of the subsurface investigation is to assess the potential impact to soil in the <br /> immediate vicinity of an existing underground storage tank (UST) that is located at the Site. <br /> This Work Plan has been prepared to meet the requirements of the Environmental Assessment <br /> review process as outlined in the Agency's Guidelines for Work Plan and Report Submittal. In <br /> addition to the Work Plan, the following completed documents are attached to this letter: <br /> • Master Record Information and General Program File Form <br /> • Application for Permit and Associated Fee <br /> • A letter from the Contractor authorizing Kennedy/Jenks to sign the permits <br /> • Contractor Questionnaire <br /> Kennedy/Jenks requests your approval of the attached Work Plan. If possible, we would like to <br /> perform the field work during the week of 23 September 1996.
