I have attached a scanned copy in case you haven't received it already.
As scheduled, we plan on starting the soil vapor sampling Monday morning (9/10/07). 1 will call you 1 hour prior to
first grout, as requested.
Let me know if you need anything else,
Justin Sobieraj
Geologist
SAIC
1000 Broadway, Suite 675
Oakland, CA 94607
Main: 510.433.0835
Direct: 510.466.7119
Fax: 510.446.7919
sobierajj@saic.corn
From: Mike Infurna [EH] [mailto:MInfurna@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Tuesday, September 04, 2007 2:46 PM
To: Sobieraj, Justin J.
Subject: RE: Boring Permit Receipt
are you sure about "sub-contract'? If so, then have Test America forward me a signed letter stating that ECA will
be covered under TestAmerica's workers comp insurance. Once I get that, no change to the permit is needed
since TestAmerica is still the 'contractor'to whom the permit was issued. We don't issue to SUB contractors
when a contractor is available.
btw, what is ECA?
IF TestAmerica is bailing out/off of the application completely, then we have to start over. I'm finding out if the fee
can be transferred.
From: Sobieraj, Justin J. Machado is scheduled for 9/10/07.
By the way, I just received a call from Test America for the Machado project—due to scheduling issues,
they are going to have to subcontract ECA for the soil vapor work. How should 1 go about getting ECA on
the permit?
9/7/2007
