Health Services, Environmental Health Division <br /> (PHS/EHD) has reviewed the letter sent to Unocal from the California Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board. The letter, dated 24 August 1994, states no further <br /> action is required at this site relating to the permanent closure of two underground <br /> storage tanks. <br /> PHS/EHD has evaluated the site for closure/site certification and concurs that no <br /> further investigation and/or remediation is necessary based on information which is <br /> currently available. <br /> Please be informed, PHS/EHD will issue a closure letter when the monitoring wells <br /> associated with the investigation are destroyed under permit and inspection. <br /> Please submit a work plan to destroy the wells, permit application, and $60.00 fee <br /> for review and permit issuance. <br /> If you have any further questions regarding this matter, contact Harlin Knoll, Senior <br /> REHS, at (209) 468-3442. <br /> Donna Heran, REHS, Director <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Harlin Knoll, Senior REHS Diane M.
