PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING
SITE MITIGATION PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a corrective action plan for
remediation of an underground leaking storage tank site located at
2835 Navy Dr. , in the City of Stockton (APN 145-030-09) on the
southeast corner of Navy Dr. and Washington St. , has been reviewed
by San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division(PHS/EHD) . The plan is a proposal for mitigation of
hazardous substances which contaminated the site due to
unauthorized releases associated with underground storage tanks
(UST) which were located on the property.
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division, Local UST Oversight Program, has made a tentative
determination that the plan is in compliance with local, State and
Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work will not
create significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the
benefits to be gained from cleanup of the contamination.
The corrective action plan is available for public review at the
Stockton Central Library, 605 N. E1 Dorado St. and PHS/EHD, 445 N.
San Joaquin St. , Stockton, California, during normal working hours,
8:00 a.m. - 5: 00 p.m. If a written request by any member of the
public for a public hearing is not received by PHS/EHD by
August 10, 1992 the tentative decision shall become final on that
date and time.
Questions should be directed to Harlin Knoll, RENS, at
(209) 468-3442 regarding site specific procedures.
Dated: July 7, 1992
By: Laurie Cotulla, Program Manager, unit IV
Publish: July 12, 1992
Newspaper: Stockton Record
t-
