The Work Plan proposes to install four groundwater <br /> monitoring wells in the A water bearing zone to help evaluate the success of nitrate and sulfate <br /> injections near the upgradient boundary of the site. ARCO will collect soil samples during the <br /> drilling to analyze for geo-technical and chemical analyses. <br /> Regional Board staff concurs with the Work Plan provided that groundwater sampling results for <br /> the newly installed wells are included along with the soil results. By 9 April 2004, please submit <br /> an investigation report detailing the field activities and sampling results as described in the Work <br /> Plan.
