I
met with the STTC members on February 20, 2001, at Tesoro's office in Seattle,Washington, to
review the results of the recently completed groundwater investigation and to develop a
conceptual model for the feasibility study.
As you will recall, the report was delayed because of the failure of our laboratory to provide the
analytical results on time. We also experienced an additional delay in collecting all of the
environmental documents prepared for this site. Several transitions have occurred between
consultants over the past couple of years and some of the documents were misplaced. We have
conducted an intensive search and have recovered of key information and documents from offsite
storage.
The number of days required to complete several of the tasks have been increased following our
preliminary review of the vast amount of historical data that exists on this site. Most of this data
is not available electronically and most of the figures and drawings are hand drafted. Based on
the unforeseen data compilation issues, I have attached a revised project schedule with May 4,
2001 as the due date for the feasibility study.
The revised schedule also includes ten additional days for the STTC members to complete their
review of the draft feasibility study.
