The tremie pipe will be <br /> removed, the well fitted with a pressure cap, and a pressure of 35 to 40 pounds per square <br /> inch will be applied for a minimum of 3 minutes. An air diaphragm pump will be used to <br /> supply the air pressure. The volume of grout used will be compared to the calculated <br /> volume. Additional grout will be pumped, if necessary, to seal the well. A concrete cap <br /> will be placed over the former well. <br /> Water displaced during the grout placement will be containerized. Containerized water <br /> will be removed during the fourth quarter monitoring event for the site.
