The revised project schedule reflects a 5 week
reduction in the estimated time frame to complete the assessment. Once the project
begins, a schedule with specific dates for task duration and completion deadlines will be
issued. Future revisions to the schedule may be made as the project procedes and tasks
are completed. In addition, several subtasks and tasks may be conducted concurrently,
further reducing the time frame for completion of the project. EMCON will inform you of
project status and completion of tasks during the course of the project by providing
monthly status reports.
A minumum period of two weeks for data review is indicated between completion of
Cone Penetrometer Testing and HydroPunch sampling programs and the beginning of the
exploratory boring and well installation program. The data review period will permit
evaluation of the stratigraphic and analytical data and to determine the optimum locations
for placement and completion intervals of groundwater monitoring wells. EMCON will
present the proposed monitoring wells to the STTC and the RWQCB for concurrence and
approval prior to beginning monitoring well installation
