The Letter summarized <br /> information from Stantec's January 29, 2009 Pilot Study Work Plan and Revised Contingency Plan, <br /> some of the additional documents listed in Attachment 1 that relate to the recent well installations, <br /> and presented a series of comments on the recent and proposed work. The Letter and this <br /> Response reference some of the documents (included in Attachment 1) along with a summary of <br /> the recent communications and meetings, which pertain to the recent and proposed work. <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY- <br /> STTC presents this Response to the RWQCB's March 11, 2009 Letter. The recent regulatory <br /> history pertaining to the proposed pilot study for well TS/MW-3D are briefly summarized in <br /> Attachment 1. This Response addresses the RWQCB Letter and numbered Comments with <br /> several points of clarification where appropriate and outlines relevant data to present STTC's <br /> perspective where STTC's with the opinions presented in the RWQCB Letter. <br /> COMMENTS ON THE RWQCB LETTER <br /> In this section, selected RWCQB comments are repeated in bold with Stantec's response below. <br /> The numbered comments are keyed to the numbers in the RWQCB letter and not all comments <br /> warranted a response. <br /> The RWQCB states the following on Page 1, Paragraph 2: Between September and <br /> October 2008, STTC installed seven wells (PS/MW-20A through PS/MW-20D, OW-31011, <br /> OW-3DR, and TS/MW-3D) to evaluate whether groundwater pollution observed in <br /> downgradient well OW-5D emanates from the STTC facilities.
