Hwy 99
Stockton, CA
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division has
reviewed the "Site Investigation Report For Morada Veterinary Clinic" dated March 19,
1997 prepared by Foothill Engineering and the results of the excavation soil sampling
performed October 22, 1993 for the above referenced site.
The soil sample collected from the bottom of the excavation in October 1993 at 14 feet
below grade evidenced Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g) at 1100
parts per million, as well as Toluene, Ethyl Benzene, and Xylene. Soil samples collected
from the boring drilled in the area of the former excavation on March 26, 1997 did not
indicate any TPH-g and only low levels of Ethyl Benzene and Xylene from 15 to 35 feet
below grade, with no contaminants detected from 40 to50 feet below grade.
This letter confirms the completion of the site investigation and remedial action for this
site. With the provision that the information provided to`this agency was accurate and
representative of site conditions, no further action related to the underground tank
release is required.
Please be advised that changes in the use of the site may require further mitigation. It
is the property owner's responsibility to notify this agency of any changes in report
content, future contamination findings, or site usage.
If you have any questions contact me at (209) 468-3449.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Margaret Lagorio, Supervising REHS
Site Mitigation Unit
c: Foothill Engineering
CVRWQCB - James Brathovde
?.Division of San Joaquin Countv Health Care Servi- -<z
