The inspection revealed <br /> corrosion and multiple holes in the exempt farm tank that was removed in April, 1992. According to <br /> Dr.Delp h,strong odors were noted in soils from the excavation. The former underground storage tank cannot <br /> be recommended for final closure without further investigation to determine the full extent of the soil and/or <br /> groundwater problem. <br /> In addition,PHS/EHD is providing you notification that an"Underground Storage Tank Unauthorized Release <br /> (Leak)/Contaminated Site Report" has been tiled pursuant to Section 25180.7 of the Health and Safety Code. <br /> Should you wish to mitigate the contamination documented at your facility, San Joaquin County PHS/EHD <br /> has been designated by the State of California Water Resources Control Board as the local agency overseeing <br /> the investigation of leaking USTs.
