R5-2015-0820,
SHELL STOCKTON TERM/NAL, 3515 NAVY DRIVE, STOCKTON, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
Shell Oil Products (Shell) monitors groundwater at the bulk fuel terminal at 3515 Navy Drive in
Stockton (Site). The Site has been an operating fuel storage and distribution facility since the
1941s and is located in an industrial area on Rough and Ready Island in Stockton. Shell
currently receives fuel products via the Shell Pipeline Corporation and stores gasoline, diesel,
and ethanol at the Site.
On 2 June 2015, California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region
(Central Valley Water Board) staff sent Shell a draft Monitoring and Reporting Program (MRP)
and requested comments. Shell submitted comments on 26 June 2015 and requested slight
modifications to the MRP sampling schedule. Board staff concurs and the final MRP reflects
these revisions.
Final MRP No. R5-2015-0820 is enclosed and now in effect. The next required sampling event
should take place in the first quarter 2016 and the report is due 1 May 2016.
