The purpose of this <br /> Addendum is to propose one additional onsite soil boring. <br /> SECOR proposes to drill an additional soil boring in the vicinity of the former <br /> waste oil tank and the station building. The soil boring will be drilled at a slant as <br /> to sample beneath the station building. The boring will be advanced to <br /> approximately 75 feet below ground surface (bgs). Soil samples will be collected <br /> every five feet, and at a minimum, the capillary fringe and bottom soil samples <br /> will be submitted for analysis. A groundwater"grab" sample will also be <br /> collected and submitted for analysis. Soil and groundwater samples will be <br /> submitted to a California State-certified laboratory and analyzed for the presence <br /> of TPHg, BTEX, and the fuel oxygenates methyl tertiary butyl ether (MtBE), <br /> ethyl tertiary butyl ether (EtBE), di-isopropyl ether (D1PE), tertiary amyl methyl <br /> ether (TAME), tertiary butanol (TBA), ethylene dibromide (EDB), 1-2 <br /> dichloroethane (1-2 DCA) methanol, and ethanol. <br /> Drilling of the proposed soil boring is anticipated to begin January 9, 2001. <br /> 3017 Kilgore Road, Suite 100, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 916.861.0400 916.861.0430 Fax www.secor.com <br />
