i
 I
Chevron Products Company 3
• II
Chevron Station 49-2396 25650 Highway 99 North Acam n California lu1 12 2001
I
Groundwater Analytical Results. Groundwater samples were
submitted to a California state-certified laboratory and analyzed foi the
presence of. purgeable hydrocarbons (i.e. TPHg), BTEX, fuel
oxygenates and total lead.:
The laboratory reported toluene was present in groundwater samples
.i from SB-1 and SB-3 at concentrations of 0.893 ig/L and 0.617 pg/L;
respectively. The laboratory also reported xylenes concentrations in
h groundwater from SB-1 and SB-3 at concentrations of 1.48 µg/L and
1.17 µg/L, respectively, and MtBE at 13.0 µg/l, in the groundwater
collected from S13-1. Groundwater analytical results are tabulated ori
ii
Table 1.
it
• Domestic Well Analytical Results. The on-site domestic well was
sampled by first stressing the well by running water inside the station
13
building. When the well cycled on, water samples were collected from
a valve at the wellhead. The domestic well analytical results were
below laboratory detection limits for all constituents tested. Analytical
results are reported in Table 1. Certified analytical reports and chain- f
of-custody documentation are presented as Attachment C.
SUMMARY OF FINDINGS
• Observations and measurements collected during drilling and logging three soil
0
borings did not reveal the presence of fuel hydrocarbon impacts to soils
encountered in SB-1 through SB-3.
i, • Soil samples from SB-1 through SB-3 contained no chemical constituents
j detectable by the laboratory.'
'j Groundwater samples from boring SB-1, near the formed UST complex, and SB-
3, near the existing pump islands, were reported to contain low-level of toluene in
Esamples from two borings ranging from 0.617 to 0.893 ug/L. Low-level xylenes
were reported from groundwater samples collected from these two borings
E ranging from 1.17 to 1.48 ug/L. A single detection of MtBE in the groundwater
+ sample from SB-1 was reported by the laboratory at 13.0 pg/L. .
• Domestic water samples contained no chemical constituents detectable by the
laboratory.
1
1
{, I:1Chevron1923961Reports\July 2001 Site Assessment Report.doc
