(Partner) is pleased to submit this work plan associated with the <br /> above referenced property. <br /> Project History <br /> According to a March 2012 Partner Phase I Environmental Site Assessment(Phase I) Report, the subject <br /> property has been occupied by various steel product fabrication facilities since the late 1980s. Metal <br /> products fabricating operations typically include the use of oil and solvents. Based on the findings of the <br /> Phase I, Partner concluded that the on-site machine shop/metal product fabrication operations represent a <br /> recognized environmental condition(REQ. <br /> Work Plan <br /> To address the on-site machine shop/metal product fabrication operations, Partner will conduct a Phase II <br /> Subsurface Soil Investigation. The scope of the investigation will include the installation of 12 borings. <br /> Ten direct-push borings throughout the subject property to a terminal depth of 5-feet below ground <br /> surface (bgs) and two direct-push borings in the vicinity of the septic tank and leach field to a terminal <br /> depth of 10-feet bgs. <br /> Partner will analyze one soil sample from each boring (12 soil samples total) for carbon chain total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-cc) via EPA Method 8015M and for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) <br /> via EPA Method 8260B. Additionally, Partner will analyze four (4) soil samples for California <br /> Administrative Manual(CAM) 17 Metals via EPA Method 6010B/747IA. <br /> Work will be scheduled to be completed in one day.
