5.1.1 Federal NPL List The EPA's National Priorities List(NPL)of uncontrolled or abandoned hazardous waste sites was reviewed for sites within one mile of the subject property. To appear on the NPL, sites must have met or surpassed a predetermined hazard ranking system score, been chosen as a state's top priority site, pose a significant health or environmental threat, or be a site where the EPA has determined that remedial action is more cost-effective than removal action. The subject property was not identified as a NPL site. The database search identified one NPL site within one mile of the subject property. The listed site is as follows: • Sharpe Army Depot-Roth Road This facility is located approximately 0.39 miles to the north of the subject property. The facility appears to be geologically downgradient from the subject property based on the available information. The site is also listed on the CORRACTS, LUST, CERCLIS, and SWLF Lists. According to the database, this is a high priority facility. The site has had reported releases of waste oil, diesel,TCE, and tetrachloroethylene. Based on the Iocation of the site, this facility does not appear to have the potential to create a Recognized Environmental Condition on the subject property. 5.1.2 Federal CORRACTS List The EPA's RCRA Corrective Action List Sites(CORRACTS) database of RCRA facilities which are undergoing"corrective action"under a corrective action order issued pursuant to RCRA Section 3008 (h) when there has been a release of hazardous waste or constituents into the environment from a RCRA facility was reviewed for sites within one mile of the subject property. The subject property was not identified as a CORRACTS site. The database search identified one CORRACTS sites within one mile of the subject property which is discussed in Section 5.1.1. 5.1.3 Federal CERCLIS List The EPA's Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Information System(CERCLIS) listings were reviewed to determine if site(s)within one mile of the subject property are listed for investigation. The CERCLIS database identifies hazardous waste sites that require investigation and possible remedial action to mitigate potential negative impacts on human health or the environment. The subject property was not identified in the database as a CERCLIS site.
