File No. 20-3941-01.E01 �� K t E I N F E L D E R March 6, 1997 APPR03MWATE PROJECT TIlgE SCHEDULE Upon receipt of our signed contract, the estimated time schedule for our work will be as follows: STANDARD ANALYTICAL TURN-AROUND TIME Approximate Time Task Week 0 Notification of proposal acceptance in writing (signed contract) Week 0 - 1 Task EOI - Permitting* and pre-field activities Week 2 Task E02 - Drilling of three soil borings Task E02(a) -Drilling of one optional soil boring Week 2 - 3 Chemical Analysis** Week 4 - 5 Task E03 - Reporting Week 5 Draft report submitted to the City of Escalon and Nolte and Associates * Kleinfelder has no control over permitting review time by regulatory agencies involved with the project. Therefore, Kleinfelder is not responsible for the impact/result of delays by others (e.g., Regulatory Agencies). It is possible that delays could occur; however, Kleinfelder will make every reasonable effort to expedite the process. ** Kleinfelder has no control over chemical analysis involved with the project. LMTATIONS Kleinfelder offers various levels of investigative and engineering services to suit the varying needs of different clients. Although risk can never be eliminated, more-detailed and extensive investigations yield more information, which may help understand and manage the level of risk. Since detailed investigation and analysis involves greater expense, our clients participate in determining levels of service which provide adequate information for their purposes at acceptable levels of risk. Acceptance of this proposal will indicate that the City of Escalon has reviewed the scope of work and determined that it does not need or want a greater level of service than will be provided.
