("LPL") as its General Counsel. This letter responds <br /> to the access request by Levine-Frike-Recon("LFR"), the Site Project Manager in the above <br /> referenced matter, to perform additional CPT testing (4 borings) at Lincoln Center dated <br /> September 25, 1997. A copy of said letter is attached hereto for your reference. By facsimile <br /> transmission dated October 14, 1997, LFR requested LPL to communicate its approval of the <br /> proposed additional CPT events to your office. A copy of this facsimile transmission is attached <br /> hereto for your reference. <br /> LPL hereby authorizes LFR to conduct the additional CPT borings subject to the <br /> qualifying conditions set forth in LFR's October 13, 1997 letter to A. J. Birkbeck, Esq. of <br /> Fulcrum Environmental Law. A copy of this letter is attached hereto for your reference. <br /> Additionally, LFR has requested that LPL grant its authorization to abandon MW#21 <br /> which is located on the North Side of Lincoln Center. Dr. Anne. M. Farr, Ph.D. will be <br /> forwarding LPL's authorization of the abandonment of MW#21 subject to the requirement that <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
