The issuance of this permit by the City does not create any agency on the part of the permittee, and the permittee will hold the City of Stockton harmless for any action for damages arising out of the permittee's activities performed under this permit. 6. Permittee, or his contractor, shall obtain an Encroachment Permit for the installation of the well(s). 7. Each completed well head shall be covered with a meter box or valve box as approved by the City of Stockton. The top of each box shall be flush with the surrounding ground or pavement_ 8. The provisions of the State of Califomia, Department of Water Resources Bulletin 74-81 entitled "Water Well Standards. State of California"shall be applicable to this permit. 9. All drilling locations, methods, and well designs are to be approved by the California Department of Health Services and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board. 10. Drilling operations that create loud noise shall be confined between the hows of 7 a.m, and 6 p.m. 11. Portable mud tanks are to be used. 12. Disposal of water from the well development shall be in accordance with current federal regulations. 13. Blocking or barricading City streets shall be subject to the approval of the City Traffic Department Traffic cones and warning signs shall be used to direct traffic. 14. Upon completion of water monitoring, the well shall be abandoned in accordance with the requirements of the San Joaquin Local Health District. 15 The permittee shall not close any traveled lane to facilitate installation, maintenance, or sampling of the well(s).
