rSTATE1%OF CALIFORNIA GEORGE DEUKMEJIAN.Governor
{CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATE , QUALITY CONTROL BOARD— •
CENTRAL VALLEY REGION
W3 ROUTIER ROAD
SACRAMENTO,CA 95827-3098
yl_
17 March 1988
ENVIROMENTAL HEAL
H
Mr. Wilbur H. Smith
Lincoln Properties Limited
628 Lincoln Center
Stockton, CA 95207
APPROVAL OF WORKPLAN AS AMENDED, GROUND WATER INVESTIGATION,
LINCOLN VILLAGE CENTER, STOCKTON, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
I discussed the boring and sampling aspects of the subject
workplan in a telephone conversation with Gerry Nakano of
Leedshill-Herkenhoff Consultants. He said the sampling methods
discussed in his 1 March 1988 letter to the Regional Board were
to be carried out through the entire length of the borings at the
monitoring well locations. With this understanding, we approve
the workplan as submitted and amended.
We request you notify us at least one week before any on-site
subsurface work is started so that we have the opportunity to
observe procedures and split samples of soil and ground water.
As stated in our 9 March and 23 February 1988 letters, the
Technical Report including results from this investigation, and
recommendations for further work is still due to the Regional
Board by 24 June 1988.
If you have any further questions, please contact me at (916)
361-5681.
ROBERT L.
