Higgins, et al . , Case No. CIV-S- <br /> 91-760 DFL (GGH) : Letter Report Submitted Pursuant to <br /> Permanent Injunction <br /> Dear Interested Parties: <br /> This information is provided pursuant to Sections IV(A) (1) (f) and <br /> IV(F) (Letter Reports) of the Permanent Injunction Governing <br /> Investigation, Monitoring, and Testing of Hazardous Substance <br /> Contamination at and Emanating from Lincoln Center ("Permanent <br /> Injunction") issued by Judge Levi, and filed on August .16, 1993 . " <br /> Since the last Letter Report on February 1, 1993 , the Dry Cleaning <br /> Defendants and LPL have worked to resolve several technical and .' <br /> legal issues surrounding work at the site. Also, in addition to <br /> other work, Bonkowski & Associates has developed detailed cross- <br /> sections of the Site, leading to a greater understanding of <br /> subsurface conditions. <br /> On March 28, 1994 Bonkowski & Associates issued its "Focused <br /> Sampling and Analysis Plan for Confirmation Sampling of Existing <br /> Monitoring Wells at the Lincoln Village Center" (Focused SAP) . The <br /> implementation of this Focused SAP will provide data necessary to <br /> produce the Final Workplan for work at the Site performed. pursuant <br /> to the Permanent Injunction. The Focused SAP was mailed to each <br /> party on the enclosed mailing list on March 28, 1994 . <br /> The date for the submittal of the Final Workplan has been extended <br /> until after the data from the Focused SAP is -returned from the lab <br /> and incorporated. <br /> Upcoming Activity: <br /> A meeting between LPL's Liaison Counsel and Site Technical <br /> Coordinator and the Dry Cleaning Defendants' Liaison Counsel and <br /> Site Project Manager is scheduled for April 6, :1994 to discuss <br /> outstanding issues regarding the proposed work at the Site. <br /> On April 8, 1994 , representatives of LPL and the Dry Cleaning <br /> Defendants will meet before Judge Weinstein to discuss remaining <br /> unresolved issues. <br />
