PUBLIC REALTH SERACES
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY ?
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIVISION r.
a
Ernest M. Fujimoto, M. D., M.P.H., Acting Health Officer
304 E. Weber Ave., Third Floor • P. O. Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95201-0388
209/468-3420
Memo From the Desk of Mary Meays
Senior REHS
To: Robert Thompson, LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae
Date: May 14, 1996
Subject: Billing Acknowledgement Forms
Scott,
I have enclosed billing acknowledgement forms to be completed on behalf of the Settling Dry
Cleaning Defendants. In the past Environmental Health has charged either Lincoln Properties,
Wickland or Chevron for time which has been associated with the Lincoln Center site.
As the site is moving into a more active phase, it is necessary that any costs associated with
providing local oversight be charged to the responsible parties: the Settling Dry Cleaning
Defendants. Examples of local oversight that may be provided include public meetings,
answering questions of consultants or the public, work plan review, permit issuance, or site
visits associated with an Environmental Health permitted activity. It is anticipated that the
amount of time to be charged will be limited since Environmental Health is not the lead
regulatory agency.
To set up an account, please include with the acknowledgement forms a check for $390 which
represents a credit for five hours of local oversight.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (209) 468-0337.
Post-it®Fax Note 7671 Datel,7 j if. paoyes
,SeFrom
Co./Dept.
