Additional field work, beyond that described in the September 1996 Work Plan for Environmental Investigation, will be
conducted as part of the Plume Perimeter Investigation. Proposed locations for well installation and CPT locations shall
be submitted to staff in January 1998.
LFR acknowledges this statement.
5. We agreed that LFR may collect an in-situ groundwater sample from the C zone upgradient of MW-30 in lieu of placing
an additional monitoring well in this location.
LFR acknowledges the RWQCB's approval for LFR to collect an in situ groundwater sample from
the C zone, upgradient from MW-30. The specific location and procedures for collecting the in
situ groundwater sample will be provided to the RWQCB in the proposal for additional field work
for the Plume Perimeter Investigation to be submitted in January 1998.
6. As discussed, LFR will provide one master list of all deliverables(including items completed as part of the remedial
investigation, health risk assessment, treatability study, feasibility study, and interim remedial actions) before the 2
December 1997 monthly meeting.
A draft schedule of milestones and draft project schedules were submitted to Ms. Wyels and LPL
on November 24, 1997. We discussed these items with Ms. Wyels and LPL on December 2, 1997
during our Periodic Meeting. We have incorporated all comments and have attached the revised
schedules and milestones to this letter. These project schedules will be updated periodically, as
necessary.
ADDITIONAL SOIL VAPOR LOCATIONS (10 NOVEMBER 1997)
The locations are approved.
Four additional soil-vapor locations were sampled on December 5, 1997.
