L1 Levine-Fricke-Recon <br /> ENGINEERS,ryYOeQ(iEOLOGISTS 8 APPLIED SCIENTISTS <br /> February 21, 1997 97 FEB 2 S AH/Z.. 49 3966.00-009 <br /> TO: PARTIES ON THE ATTACHED DISTRIBUTION LIST <br /> Subject: Revision No. 1 to the Quality Assurance Project Plan, Lincoln Center, Stockton, <br /> California <br /> Dear Interested Parties: <br /> On behalf of the Settling Dry Cleaning Defendants, Levine-Fricke-Recon Inc. submits Revision <br /> No. 1 to the Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP), Appendix C of the "Work Plan for <br /> Environmental Investigation, Lincoln Center, Stockton, California," dated September 23, 1996. <br /> We have assembled QAPP Revision No. 1 in a three-ring binder to accommodate anticipated future <br /> revisions. <br /> The following revisions have been made to the QAPP: <br /> I . Attachment C-2, "Laboratory Contractor's Operating Procedure for EPA Method 8260A <br /> (modified)," has been modified by 1) reducing the target analyte list from 62 compounds to 29 <br /> compounds, 2) adding criteria for tentatively identified compound (TIC) identification, and 3) <br /> limiting the low level standard (0.3 micrograms per liter) to the Hazardous Substances <br /> (including cis-1,2-dichloroethylene [DCE] and trans- 1,2-DCE), 1,1-DCF_, and benzene, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes. <br /> 2. A header has been added to each page of the main body of the QAPP, Attachment C-2, and the <br /> respective tables to reflect the date the QAPP was first issued as a final document and the dates <br /> and numbers of subsequent revisions. <br /> 3. A relative percent difference (RPD) field duplicate criteria of 30% has been added to Table <br /> C-4.
