As discussed in our telephone conversation, LFR will advance up to 3 soil <br /> borings (MIP-4, MIP-8, and MIP-10) within the Site parking lot located along Benjamin Holt <br /> Drive (Figure 1). The work is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 15, 2005. The soil <br /> borings will utilize membrane interphase probe (MIP) technology, and will be advanced to <br /> approximately 75 feet below ground surface (bgs) with a direct push drill rig. The data collected <br /> during this work will be used to complete the remaining MIP test locations illustrated on Figure 1 <br /> at a later date (MIP-1, MIP-2, MIP-3, MIP-5, MIP-6, MIP-7, MIP-9, MIP-11, MI13-13, and <br /> MIP-14). <br /> The enclosed well permit application is being submitted to advance a total of 13 soil borings to an <br /> approximate depth of 75 feet bgs. This project is being completed with the oversight of the <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB). As requested, approval of the work by the <br /> RWQCB will be forwarded to you by November 11, 2005. In addition, the licensed contractor's <br /> declaration will be forwarded to you under separate cover by Vironix (the contractor to conduct <br /> the work). To process the enclosed well permit application, the following items are enclosed: <br /> • Well permit application. <br /> • Check Number 119635, made payable to the San Joaquin County of Environmental Health <br /> Department in the amount of$89. This check is provided to satisfy the well permit <br /> application fee. <br /> • Check number 119626, made payable to the San Joaquin County of Environmental Health <br /> Department in the amount of$178.90.
