Central Valley Water Board staff and the Trust met on 2 July 2012 to discuss the <br /> Plan. <br /> The Plan proposes to perform additional characterization of the down-gradient soils and <br /> groundwater in accordance with Table 1 (attached). A total of nine groundwater monitoring <br /> wells are proposed to be installed in the A and B zones down-gradient of the source area. Soil <br /> samples will be collected from the well borings and analyzed for geochemical characteristics. <br /> The Trust intends to use the collected data to prepare a remedial design for the down-gradient <br /> perchloroethene (PCE) impacts in groundwater. <br /> Central Valley Water Board staff and the Trust have prepared a Public Notice regarding the <br /> proposed work. The Trust has submitted a distribution list containing names and addresses that <br /> will receive the Notice. We will also post the Notice on our Geotracker website: <br /> http://geotracker.waterboards.ca.gov/profile_report.asp?global_id=SL205132997 <br /> Central Valley Water Board staff concurs with the Plan. Please submit a report of findings by <br /> 5 November 2012.
