Page 1 of 5 Mike Infurna [EH] From: Mike Infurna [EH] Sent: Monday, May 09, 2011 4:30 PM To: 'Ben Chevlen' Subject: RE: 7647 Pacific Ave., Stockton -well permit application packet Ben, my head is still achin from the hardhat all day at a site. you said in your first sentence, "....finalized by Tuesday"...May 10? or May 17.??? since you don't need a permit from the EHD to air knife, you can start your air knife 5-17 anyway. and even if Reid gets you the encroachment permit by May 17, you won't really need an offsite drilling permit til May 23 anyway, right?. so I will consider the onsite work that starts Thursday, May 19 close enough to be the same drill phase as May 23. as for you "paid too much money to the County..", althought technically right, accountants tend to see only the bottom line and theorethically, you're SHORT since there's a permit fee for returning the protected wells to County standards. But I'll allow it to stay as it is now with these days/dates and the money as long as it stays this way. IF you change days, add delays, spread out the gap, you'll need to send in the $122. I'm counting on the drillers not using a full hour on each well each day (May 19 and 20th)...any time under an hour adds time to the un-paid-for well. I still CAN'T issue the offsite permit w/o a copy of the COS encroachment permit. I can issue the onsite and list TWO recovered wells. we'll just 'fix' the third one with the time/money you have submitted. Besides, any overage will be billed to the "THIRD PARTY BILLING" you identified on the MFR. The EHD will not lose money on this. I'm VERY busy in the field and I'll need multiple days to process the offsite once I get the COS copy. don't wait til Friday afternoon to get it to me....if you want to drill offsite on Monday May 23, then I MUST have the COS copy NLT May 18, before closing. He indicated he MAY be able to get the City encroachment permit finalized by Tuesday. We are currently scheduled to air knife all locations on 5/17 and 5/18, and install wells on 5/19 and 5/20. I've scheduled the driller to return to the site on 5/23 for one day, assuming that the encroachment permit will have been received by next Tuesday, and that the location would be air knifed on 5/18. 5/16/2011
