In view of the moved up <br /> date for the station construction activities to October, Diane doesn't believe GWE should be implemented as the <br /> interim remediation would of necessity be curtailed after a very short run for the construction work to proceed. We <br /> discussed the problems with the present state of the site characterization and the need to reevaluate remedial <br /> technologies to adequately address residual contaminants in submerged soil and groundwater. Diane will submit <br /> a short explanation for aborting the approved IRAP and proposals for proper destruction of monitoring wells to <br /> accommodate the site construction. <br /> Nuel <br /> 9/28/2010 <br />
