-you plan an interim gwe. I couldn't put it better myself. I'll need a TRAP (proposal-Plan) so I
can eval and eventually approve it ( paper trail needed for interim/full RAPs). once the TRAP is
approved and goes online, I may change some wells gw sampling frequencies to better eval
effectiveness...or maybe not. I'll let the data and site specific trends dictate my response(s).
Remediation reports are still due on a quarterly basis and I suspect I'll see adequate updates,
conclusions, and recommendations in these..
-plans to demo the wells for construction are ok too. A Well Destruction WP by September
2010 sounds fine. add wells? include changes.
-an updated SCM in October 2010 is ok also. May NOT be needed if new
wells/borings/adjusted evaluation of site conditions don't change. Site status updates can be
included in the IRAP quarterlies. But if new soil/gw data expands site understanding, then by
all means, get me an updated SCM.
-WP for assessment, if needed, can also come when the time arrives (need for new wells, soil
borings for delineation, etc) and if GWE influence, effectiveness, and conclusions support need.
I can't imagine what COP/Stantec would gain by advising us of anymore than this/having a
meeting. Although you may request a meeting, lining up my schedule (I'm off ALL Sept 2010)
with my PG and my admin boss is a task....tough, but not impossible. The first thing they'll ask
me is "what's the problem"?..... I have no problem. again, do you? COP? is there some
concern(s) you think I/the EHD has required that you don't want to do?
please re-eval and let me know. I can generate a comment letter with all this in it...
will that help?
mike
From: Mike Infurna [EH] --
Sent: Thursday, August 05, 2010 4:00 PM
To: 'Barclay, Diane'
Subject: RE: 7647 Pacific, Stockton
glad to hear it.
any chance the EHD can review the data before we commit?
From: Barclay, Diane [mailto:Diane.Barclay@stantec.com]
Sent: Thursday, August 05, 2010 3:49 PM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Cc: Lathrop, Shelby S (Shaw Environmental, Inc.)
Subject: 7647 Pacific, Stockton
Hello Mike,
Now that we have completed rebound testing, have another round of monitoring data, and have had a
conference call with the architect for the rebuild project, Shelby and I thought it would be a good time to
suggest a meeting with you to discuss our proposed path forward for this site. Please let me know if you
would like to meet or have a conference call sometime this month, and if so, what days/times would be
good for you —thanks!
R/1 52/11)l n
