Station #172 <br /> 7647 Pacific Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95207 <br /> 1st Quarter 2004,Status Report <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> Presented herein is the First Quarter 2000, Status Report prepared for Former Thrifty Oil Co <br /> (Thrifty) Station 4172 located at 7647 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California(Figure 1) Presented <br /> in this report are the results of the site monitoring efforts conducted during the First Quarter 2000 <br />. Thrifty has retained Earth Management Co (EMC)to conduct quarterly monitoring and sampling <br /> activities at this site <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> Depth to groundwater is measured in each monitoring well quarterly Gauging data obtained from <br /> June 1991 through February 23,2000 is presented in Table 1. In general,groundwater occurs under <br /> water table conditions beneath the station at depths ranging from 35 26 feet below ground surface <br /> (bgs) in monitoring well VW-5 to 43 64 feet bgs in monitoring well MW-4 (Appendix A) A <br /> groundwater elevation contour map based upon February 23, 2000 data is presented as Figure 1 <br /> Groundwater flow direction beneath the site ranges from approximately 0 06 feet/foot to the <br /> northwest to 0 09 feet/foot to the north and south from an apparent groundwater high centered across <br /> the northern portion of the site <br /> Quarterly Groundwater Sampling <br /> As part of the groundwater monitoring program, groundwater samples were obtained from <br /> monitoring wells MW-3 through MW-11, except MW-8 which was abandoned Groundwater <br /> samples were obtained by EMC and delivered in a chilled state, in an ice chest, following strict <br /> Chain-of-Custody procedures to a state certified laboratory These samples were analyzed for <br /> volatile aromatic compounds of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) by EPA <br /> method 8020 and for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-g) by EPA method 8015 modified for <br /> e, and for oxygenates by EPA method 8260 <br /> 0 <br /> 13539 E Foster Rd , Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670-0138•(562)923-9876 <br />
