Station #172 <br /> 7647 Pacific Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95207 <br /> 41h Quarter 1999,Status Report <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> Presented herein is the Fourth Quarter 1999, Status Report prepared for Former Thrifty Oil Co <br /> (Thrifty) Station#172 located at 7547 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California(Figure 1) Presented <br /> in this report are the results of the site monitoring efforts conducted during the Fourth Quarter 1999 <br /> Thrifty has retained Earth Management Co (EMC) to conduct quarterly monitoring and sampling <br /> activities at this site <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> Depth to groundwater is measured in each monitoring well on a quarterly basis Gauging data <br /> obtained from June 1991 through November 10, 1999 is presented in Table 1. In general, <br /> groundwater occurs under water table conditions beneath the station at depths ranging from 35 46 <br /> feet below ground surface(bgs)in monitoring well MW-5 to 37 51 feet bgs in monitoring well MW- <br /> 4 (Appendix A) A groundwater elevation contour map based upon November 10, 1999 data is <br /> presented as Figure 1 Groundwater flow direction beneath the site ranges from 0 01 feet/foot to <br /> the west to 0 02 feet/foot to the west and northwest <br /> Quarterly Groundwater Sampling <br /> As part of the groundwater monitoring program, groundwater samples were obtained from <br /> monitoring wells MW-3 through MW-11, except MW-8 which was abandoned Groundwater <br /> samples were obtained by EMC and delivered in a chilled state, in an ice chest, following strict <br /> Chain-of-Custody procedures to a state certified laboratory and analyzed for volatile aromatic <br /> compounds of benzene,toluene, ethylbcnizene, and xylenes by EPA method 8020 and for total <br /> VEAVQ—j 13539 E Foster Rd, Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670-0138•(562)923-9876 <br />
