Station #172 7647 Pacific Avenue Stockton, CA 95207 3rd Quarter 1999,Status Report Dear Mr Infurna Presented herein is the Third Quarterly 1999, Status Report prepared for the above-mentioned . service station (Figure 1) Presented in this report are the results of the site monitoring efforts conducted during the 3rd Quarter 1999 Thrifty Oil Co has retained Earth Management Co (EMC) to conduct quarterly monitoring and sampling activities at this site GROUNDWATER MONITORING Depth to groundwater is measured in each monitoring well on a quarterly basis Gauging data obtained from June 1991 through August 1999 is presented in Table 1. In general, groundwater occurs under water table conditions beneath the station at depths ranging from 33 98 feet below ground surface (bgs) in monitoring well MW-7 to 35 97 feet bgs in monitoring well MW-4 A groundwater elevation contour map based upon August 18, 1999 data is presented as Figure 2 Groundwater flow direction beneath the site is 0 02 feet/foot to the southwest Quarterly Groundwater Sampling As part of the groundwater monitoring program, groundwater samples were obtained from monitoring wells MW-3 through MW-11 The vapor wells ("VW" series) were gauged, and all wells were dry according the EMC Project Status Report Sheet presented in Appendix A Groundwater samples were obtained by Earth Management Company (EMC) and delivered in a chilled state, in an ice chest, following strict Chain-of-Custody procedures to a state certified laboratory and analyzed for volatile aromatic compounds of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes by EPA method 8020 and for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-g) by EPA method 8015 13539 E Foster Rd, Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670-0138•(562)923-9876
