Station #172 <br /> 7647 Pacific Avenue <br /> Stockton, Ca 95207 <br /> 2nd and 3rd Quarters 1998 j <br /> A"04 <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> Presented herein is a quarterly monitoring report prepared for the above mentioned service station <br /> _ <br /> Presented in this report are the results of the site monitoring efforts conducted during the 2nd and <br /> 3rd of quarters 1998 Thrifty Oil Co has retained Earth Management Co (EMC) to conduct <br />• quarterly monitoring and sampling activities at this site The data is reported by Thnfty's nn-house <br /> -environmental staff <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> Depth to groundwater is measured in each monitoring well on a quarterly basis Gauging data <br /> obtained from June 1991 thm August 1998 is presented m Table 1, and this report covers the period <br /> from April thru September 1998 In general, groundwater occurs under water table conditions <br /> beneath the station at depths ranging from 30 10 feet below surface grade (bsg) in monitoring well <br /> W MW-4 to 36 30 feet bsg m momtormg well MW-11 A groundwater elevation contour map based <br /> upon May 27 and August 26, 1998 data is presented as Figures 1 & 5 The general direction of <br /> groundwater flow beneath the site is toward the east, as measured on May 27, 1998 By August 26, <br /> 1998 groundwater levels generally increased across the site creating an apparent depression in the <br /> vicinity of wells MW-7 and MW-1f <br /> Free hydrocarbons have not historically be present at this site <br /> Quarterly Groundwater Sampling <br /> As part of the groundwater monitoring program, groundwater samples were obtained from <br /> monitoring wells MW-3, MW-4, MW-5, MW-6, MW-7, MW-9, MW-10, and MW-11 on May 27 <br /> . and August 26, 1998 Groundwater samples were obtained by Earth Management Co (EMC) and <br /> delivered in a chilled state in a light proof ice chest following strict Chain-of-Custody procedures <br /> �'91-1k <br /> �J <br /> -0136-{562)923-9876 <br /> 13539 E Foster Rd,Santa Fe Springs,CA 90670 <br />
