SAN JOAQUIN Environmental Health Department
C010NTY-
rr Greotness grows herk;. Time In: 12:55 pm
Time Out: 2:05 om
Food Program Complaint Inspection Report
Name of Facility: COUNTRY MARKETPLACE Date: 01/22/2020
Address: 1789 W CHARTER WAY, STOCKTON 95206
Owner/Operator: BHADE, HARJINDER Telephone: (209)941-2222
Program Element: 1600-FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00051446
DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint:
DUMPSTER/WASTE MANAGEMENT CONTAINER IS FULL. COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THERE IS E-WASTE AND
HUMAN WASTE IN THE DUMPSTER. COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THERE ARE RATS BECAUSE OF ALL OF THE
GARBAGE.
VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7;
113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health
and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of
the food facility.
OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS
FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS
No Temperature Data Collected
NOTES
Dumper area is shared among 3 facilities(country market place ,subway, chicagos pizza) I spoke to each of the 3 managers
regarding this complaint.
Dumper area has 2 dumpsters. One for garbage and another for cardboard. Per manager at Country market place the
dumpster for garbage is emptied 2x weekly and for cardboard 3x weekly. Per manager at Subway dumpsters are emptied
only 1 x weekly and they stated that there is not enough room for their garbage and that their boss has had them clean up the
area several times. Manager of Chicagos pizza did not make a comment.
Observation: Both dumpers were about half way full at time of visit. Lids were not on. Did not observe E waste or human
waste.Area is locked to the public.Area has an excess amount of garbage. Per manager of country market place, it is
residential garbage from people who leave garbage on the parking lot. Country market employees move the garbage to their
dumpster area and get rid of it a little bit at the time.Alsoobserved a box full of bagged lettuce and an empty box from subway
on the ground. Manager at subway does not know why the boxes were on the ground (maybe someone took it out from
dumpster). Also observed a small amount of garbage on the ground that belongs to chicagos pizza. Manager from chicagos
pizza stated that maybe the bag with garbage broke when it was picked up from the waste management company. No
evidence of rats.Terminix was on site at time of inspection doing their routine service.
Corrections/recommendations:All garbage at dumpster area shall be removed by 2 weeks. If there is not enough dumpsters
for all of the garbage, EACH facility shall have their own individual dumpster immediately. Dumpster lids shall always cover
dumpsters.
The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and
Safety Code.If a reinspection is required, fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate.
S& ' Gj
Received by: Name and Title: Sim grewal, manager
EH Specialist: MARIBEL FLOHRSCHUTZ Phone: (209)953-7817
FA0007486 C00051446 SCO04 01/22/2020
EHD 16-23 Rev.06/30/15 Page 1 of 1 Food Program Complaint Inspection Report
1868 E.
