2 Work Authoriization No.:1 Pursuant to paragraph 1 of the General Contracting and Consulting Services Agreement ("Agreement") dated March 25, 1998, by and between Wright Environmental Services, Inc. ("Contractor"), and Nelson Ready Mix clo Mr. Russ Nelson and City of Ripon c/o Mr. Dale Ramey ("Client"), Client hereby authorizes Contractor to perform the following scope of work subject to the following conditions set forth below. 1) Contractor shall perform on-site assessment and other environmental remediation work as defined in contractors proposal 4216-P, dated December 23, 1997, at the unit rates specified therein, referenced as though fully set forth herein. The Clients responsible party is: _ Dale Ramey and Russ Belson 2) Contractor shall not incur fees and disbursements for any required work outside the scope of work authorized in this Work Authorization No. 1 without prior notice to and approval of Client. If Client withholds its approval for any required work, then the Contractor may cease performance of the work authorized hereby immediately upon receipt of such disapproval pursuant to Section 6 of the Agreement. 3) This Work Authorization shall constitute an amendment to the Wright Environmental Services, Inc. Agreement and the performance of the work shall be governed by and subject to all of the terms and provisions, conditions, obligations and covenants set forth in the Agreement. Except as expressly modified by the Work Authorization, and only to the extent thereof, the terms of the Agreement shall remain unmodified and in full force and effect.
