(ERI) is notifying you of upcoming field work related to the <br /> installation of three monitoring wells(MW8 through MW10)and five soil vapor wells(SVS1 through SVSS) <br /> at the subject site. ERI is performing the on-site environmental activities at the direction of the California <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region (the Regional Board). The purpose of the <br /> work is to further investigate soil and groundwater concentrations of gasoline and related constituents in <br /> soil at the site. The locations of the monitoring wells and soil vapor wells are shown on the attached <br /> maps(Plate 1). <br /> A project orientation meeting will be held at the site on January 7, 2009. Please feel free to attend. The <br /> field work is scheduled for January 18 through February 2, 2010. 'ERI has contracted a licensed <br /> environmental well driller to drill and install the wells. Soil and debris generated from drilling activities will <br /> be stockpiled and stored in drums at the site pending disposal at an EMES-approved facility. <br /> ERI will need access to the site for approximately 10 hours per day from January 18 through <br /> February 2, 2010. During this time, ERI will: <br /> • Locate underground utilities. <br /> • Install one on-site(MW8)and two off-site(MW9 and MW 10)wells. <br /> • Install and sample five on-site soil vapor wells. <br /> Refinish the surface to match the surrounding area after drilling activities are complete. <br /> • Store soil cuttings in drums at the site. <br /> • Develop the three monitoring wells. <br /> The new monitoring wells will be incorporated into the groundwater monitoring and sampling schedule for <br /> the site. <br /> II' ERI will attempt to minimize disruptions to the property during well installation and sampling activities. <br /> ERI will contact you by telephone to discuss a detailed schedule for fieldwork and to arrange access to <br /> the gated property. 4 <br /> Environmental Resolutions, Inc. <br /> 601 North McDowell Noulevard,Petaluma,CA 94954 I Tel:707.766.2000 I Pax:707.789.0414 I A/00-611383 py <br /> 5 <br />
