Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2001 <br />' PACIFIC AUTO CENTER <br /> 25355 North Highway 99, Acampo, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION ' <br />' In accordance with the request of Mr Pat Meeks of the former Pacific Auto Center, Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 25355 <br /> N Highway 99,Acampo, California The scope ofwork included quarterly ground water monitoring <br />' and preparation of this report The location of the site and the immediately surrounding area are <br /> illustrated on Figure 1, structures and monitoring well locations on the site are illustrated on <br /> Figure 2 Background information is summarized in the AGE-prepared Prehminary Site Assessment <br />' Report, dated 07 April 1999 Data from previous ground water monitoring events is included in the <br /> tables of this report <br />' 0 <br /> 2. PROCEDURES <br /> IField activities were performed in accordance with guidelines for investigation of underground <br /> storage tank(UST) sites and sampling ground water monitoring wells issued by the Regional Water <br /> . Quality Control Board - Central Valley Region (RWQCB) and by the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services - Environmental Health Division(PHS--EHD), repectively <br />' 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br />' On 23 August 2001, a Sohnst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in <br /> the three wells relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevations and gradient were <br /> dete=ned from this data(Table 1) <br />' After depth to ground water measurements, a minimum of three casing-water volumes was purged <br /> from each well to be sampled using new disposable plastic bailers Approximately 7 gallons of water <br /> were removed from each well Ground water temperature, pH and conductivity were measured at <br /> regular intervals during the purge process using a Hydac water analyzer Field data_sheets are, _ a <br /> included in Appendix A Purged water was stored on site in labeled, 55-gallon DOT-approved <br />' drums <br /> A water sample was also collected from the domestic well on-site Since no sampling port is present <br />' at the well head, a sample was collected from the holding tank <br />' 2 2 COLLECTION AND LABORATORY ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br />' Water samples were collected from each purged well using new disposable plastic bailers Each <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmenta4 Inc <br /> I <br />
