In the plan, Arcadis proposes to install two soil vapor extraction wells utilizing 4-inch
PVC casing nominally screened from 55 to 70 feet below surface grade in 10-inch borings with
a sand filter pack from total depth, to approximately 2 feet above the screened interval. This will
be followed by 2 feet of transition sand and finished with neat cement grout to near ground
surface. The two new soil vapor extraction wells and monitoring well MW-4R will be utilized to
conduct an SVE pilot test to evaluate the technology and to design a remediation system if
found technically and economically feasible. Proceed with obtaining permits from the EHD for
the installation of the vapor extraction and monitoring wells.
If you have any questions please call Lisa Medina at(209) 468-3455.
Sincerely,
Lisa Medina, REHS Nuel C.
