SECOR www secor com <br /> INTERNATIONAL 3017 Kilgore Road Suite 100 <br /> ® <br /> INCORPORATED Rancho Cordova CA 95670 <br /> 916-861-0400 TEL <br /> • 916-861-0430 vnx <br /> ""EC EKED <br /> MAY 0 7 2004 <br /> May 5, 2004 <br /> ENVIRONMENT HEALTH <br /> Ms Lon Duncan PERMIT/SERVICES fi <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 East Webber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Re Site Conceptual Model <br /> ARCO 595 <br /> 6100 North Highway 99 <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Site Code 0707 <br /> Dear Ms Duncan <br /> SECOR International Incorporated (SECOR) has prepared this report on behalf of Atlantic Richfield a <br /> Company to submit a Site Conceptual Model for the site referenced above (Figure 1) This report .t <br /> was prepared at the request of San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) in <br /> . letter dated March 8, 2004 (Attachment 1) <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located at 6100 North Highway 99 in Stockton, California, and is an operating AM/PM <br /> mint-mart and ARCO service station The site is bordered by orchards to the north, east, and south, <br /> and Highway 99 to the west The site currently contains three 12,000-gallon gasoline underground <br /> storage tanks (USTs), associated product lines, and product dispensers Additionally, a domestic <br /> water supply well (WSW) is currently in operation at the service station, and is located in the <br /> southwest corner of the property <br /> SITE HISTORY <br /> 9 <br /> Previous Investigations <br /> In September 1999, product lines and dispensers were upgraded and replaced in the same trench <br /> locations Twenty-one soil samples were collected from beneath the product lines, vapor lines, <br /> dispensers, and other product lines previously abandoned-in-place Total petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> as gasoline (TPHg) was detected at concentrations ranging from 1 94 mg/kg (milligrams per <br /> kilogram) to 11,300 mg/kg Benzene was reported at concentrations ranging from 0 0316 mg/kg to <br /> 48 3 mg/kg Methyl tertiary butyl ether (MtBE) was reported at concentrations ranging from 0 110 <br /> mg/kg to 6 47 mg/kg Tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA), di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl tertiary butyl ether <br /> (EtBE), tertiary amyl methyl ether (TAME), 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), and ethylene dibromide <br /> (EDB) were not detected in the samples Approximately 189 tons of soil generated during the <br /> removal of the underground facilities and the trenching for new piping were disposed of at BFI Landfill <br /> in Livermore, California Results of this investigation are Included in SECOR's report titled Soil <br /> Samples During Product Line and Dispenser Upgrade Activities, dated December 10, 1999 Historical <br /> F ' <br />
