After installation, <br /> the monitoring wells will be developed by rigorously surging the <br /> well over the length of the screen interval and by purging <br /> approximately 10 casing volumes of water After well development, <br /> groundwater samples will be collected from wells MW-5 through <br /> MW-7 and sent under standard chain-of-custody procedures to a <br /> California State-certified laboratory (Sequoia Analytical) A sample <br /> will also be obtained from the domestic well onsite The <br /> groundwater samples will be analyzed for TPHg using modified EPA <br /> Method 8015, BTEX and MtBE using EPA Method 8020, and fuel <br /> oxygenates MtBE, DIPE, TAME, EtBE, TBA, 1,2 DCA, and EDB <br /> by EPA 8260 <br /> • Well Surveying. Upon completion of well construction, the wells will <br /> be surveyed by a licensed surveyor to a local benchmark relative to <br /> mean sea level The groundwater gradient will be interpreted utilizing <br /> wellhead elevations and depth-to-water measurements from all site <br /> wells <br /> • Door-to-Door Sensitive Receptor Survey. A 500-foot radius door-to- <br /> door sensitive receptor survey will be performed to evaluate potential <br /> sensitive receptors in the area of the site, including undocumented <br /> domestic, irrigation, municipal, and industrial wells <br /> • Report. A report will be prepared after completion of necessary field <br /> work The report will include boring logs, soil and groundwater <br /> analytical results, chain-of-custody documentation, and conclusions <br /> Field and laboratory procedures are presented as Attachment C <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> SECOR is prepared to initiate field work within 2 weeks following approval of this <br /> work plan and issuance of permits by the SJCEHD and Caltrans A report documenting <br /> the findings of the well and soil boring installation is anticipated to be submitted <br /> approximately 60 days after completion of the field work and upon receipt of all <br /> analytical data <br /> If there are any questions regarding the contents of this work plan, please call us at (916) <br /> 861-0400 <br /> 077 43029 310/WPLAN Nov 2000 doe <br />
