Escalon Cellars TL F06601.01
February 9, 2000 Page 6
Monitor well installation can begin within two weeks of work plan authorization by the CVRWQCB.
The start date could be delayed by site conditions due to rain and San Joaquin County permitting
requirements. Installation of monitor wells, developing and sampling should take approximately 2
and a half weeks, laboratory analysis of water samples will require three weeks, and analysis and
elevation of data and preparation of a final report will take approximately 3 weeks. A final report
will be completed with approximately 12 weeks of the approval of the work plan.
6.0 LIMITATIONS
The proposed work is intended to be an interactive process. Additional work, including additional
monitoring wells, may be required to provide detection or assessment of contaminants in
groundwater.
No investigation is thorough enough to describe all geologic/hydrogeologic conditions of interest
at a given site. If conditions are not identified during the study, such a finding should not be
construed as a guarantee of the absence of such conditions at the site, but rather as the result of the
services performed within the scope, limitations, and cost of the work performed.
Geologic/hydrogeologic conditions may exist at the site that cannot be identified solely by visual
observation. Where subsurface exploratory work is performed, our professional opinions are based
in part on interpretation of data from discrete sampling locations that may not represent conditions
at locations not sampled.
This work plan was prepared for the sole use of the client and appropriate regulatory agencies. Any
reliance on this report by a third party is at such party's sole risk. The professional services will be
performed, the findings obtained, and the conclusions prepared in accordance with generally-
accepted engineering principles and practices in San Joaquin County at the time the work is
performed. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, either expressed or implied.
