Kennedy/Jenks Consultants <br /> Section 7: Potential Hazard Mitigation <br /> Describe actions to mitigate ALL potential hazards listed in Section 6. <br /> All members of the project team in field activities will be provided a copy this HARP and will have read and <br /> signed a copy to be maintained in the project files. This HARP shall be updated for each new field activity. <br /> Minimum protective equipment for this project will include Level D PPE (steel-toed boots, hard hat, and vest). <br /> Wear tinted safety glasses when working outside in bright sunlight and use hearing protection in areas where <br /> required or where sound level is uncomfortable. <br /> Walking surfaces may be uneven at certain locations. Caution will be used when walking around in the LAA <br /> and facility. Do not multi-task (e.g., talk on phone or take notes)while walking. Look both ways twice before <br /> crossing any rail track and do not stand between or walk along tracks. <br /> Use lifting tools to open well lids or other covers in areas where snakes or spiders may be present. Do not <br /> approach any wild animals or pets. If the animal is coming toward you, back away slowly and find a safe place <br /> to take refuge and contact animal control. <br /> Proper lifting procedures and a dolly will be used to transport heavy equipment for monitoring.
